CARE GUIDE
Built to last. Treated right, every God Sees You Wear tee gets better with time — softer, more lived-in, more yours.
WASHING
- Cold water only — hot water sets stains and breaks down garment-dyed pigment
- Inside out to protect the print and the vintage wash finish
- Wash with similar colors — garment-dyed tees may release small amounts of color on the first few washes (this is normal and slows after wash #3)
- Mild detergent — skip bleach, fabric softener, and oxygen brighteners
- Gentle cycle when possible
DRYING
- Tumble dry low or hang dry for best results
- High heat will shrink heavyweight cotton and crack the print over time
- Hang drying preserves the oversized fit and extends the life of the garment
IRONING
- Low heat only
- Avoid ironing directly on the print — flip inside out, or use a press cloth
- Do not steam directly on the graphic
DO NOT
- Do not bleach — it strips the garment-dyed pigment
- Do not dry clean — the solvents damage the print and the finish
- Do not wring out the shirt — it warps the shape
STAINS
Treat stains immediately with cold water and a small amount of mild detergent. Blot — don’t rub. Never use hot water on a fresh stain, especially on garment-dyed cotton.
WHY THE GARMENT GETS BETTER WITH TIME
Our tees are built on Comfort Colors® 1717 — a heavyweight ring-spun cotton blank that’s pre-shrunk and garment-dyed. That means the color is dyed into the finished shirt instead of the raw yarn, giving it that vintage hand and lived-in softness from day one. With proper care, the shirt will continue to soften, the color will deepen slightly, and the fit will mold to you — the way a great tee should.
